The Whole Data Recovery Process
Step 1
You submit your data so that we can process is it, upon receiving a confirmation email with a tracking number. You package your hard drive safely and securely and ship with registered post to our facilities in Belgium
Step 2
We receive your hard drive and we process it in order to identify what the issue is and whether we can fix it. We have an 80% chance of recovery, so your odds are high that we can indeed fix your issue and return your data.
Step 3
Once we determine that we can fix it, we send out an invoice that is payable before we proceed with the job. This helps us pay the dedicated men and woman at our laboratories so that they can also afford to live.
Step 4
Once we receive your payment, we send the hard disk to the dedicated facility that can handle your case. Is it a broken head? We send it to Jan, who can replace the head better than 99% of technicians world wide. If it is a software issue, then Jarik takes on the hard task of matching the 1s and the 0s so that you get back your data. Of course this transit time takes longer than some of our competitors, but you can rest easily because you know true experts are looking into you issue.
Step 5
The first step to good recovery is a clean work space, in fact our is grade 10. But what is that? It’s as high as most pharmaceutical productions plants. You can rest assured that not a single dust particle gets through. We have HVAC systems that run 24/7 to ensure no contaminants get into the your disk. Once our colleague has put on a special one time use robe, they enter another facility where they wash their hands, sterilize them and then put on gloves. By putting on a second layer of robes, they ensure nothing from the outside world can ruin your data once the drive is open.
Step 6
Your technician then opens the hard drive with a degaussed (non-magnetic) screwdriver to ensure those pesky bytes don’t become unreadable. The opened lid will reveal a lot of information, and the technician will decide on the best course of action. By hooking up a special device called a PC-3000, they will find out a lot about the drive that will help them identify bad sectors.
Step 7
If we see that we just need to replace some internal components like a broken reader head, then we go into our donor parts. There we can surely find something that will heal up your drive in no time. We can’t find anything? Then Maria from purchasing sources a similar drive from the market that will sacrifice itself so that your drive can live.
Step 8
Using military grade technology, Jan will take a carbon copy of the data on your drive which in most cases will be intact. This will run through a special software that will make sure every 1 and 0 (byte) is in the right place. He will make it available in
Step 9
Once we have a copy, depending on what you choose. We can send out a digital file transfer, which means you have instant access to your files, or we can ship you a new hard drive with all your information.
